TIFF 2012: POSSIBLE FILMS TO PREMIERE IN TORONTO

With less than two months to go till TIFF 2012, there is much speculation about what Films we'll be seeing at this year's Festival.  One of my favourite Games is guessing which Films we'll see premiere here and although there are no guarantees, here are some of the great Films due for release in the next while which just may be premiere here in our City in September!  Let's compare notes, shall we?

End of Watch - Two young Officers are marked for death after confiscating a small amount of Money and Firearms. Stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Anna Kendrick and Michael Pena.

Liberal Arts - A 30-something Man falls for a 19-year-old Student when he revisits his Alma Mater. Stars Josh Radnor, Zac Efron and Elizabeth Olsen.

The Hunt - A Kindergarten Teacher is falsely accused of Child Abuse. Stars Mads Mikkelsen and Thomas Bo Larsen.

Looper - The Mob rids of their Target by sending him 30 years into the past where a Killer awaits. Stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bruce Willis and Emily Blunt.

Beyond the Hills - A Drama about two Women who grew-up in an Orphanage. Stars Cosmina Stratan and Cristina Flutur.

Tar - A look at the life of Poet C.K. Williams. Stars James Franco, Mila Kunis, Zach Braff and Jessica Chastain.

The Paperboy - A Reporter returns to his Hometown in Florida to investigate the Case of a Man on Death Row. Stars John Cusack, Matthew McConaughey, Nicole Kidman and Zac Efron.

Bachelorette - Three Women are asked to be Bridesmaids at the Wedding of a Girl they used to taunt in School. Stars Kirsten Dunst, Isla Fisher, Rebel Wilson, Lizzy Caplan and James Marsden.

On the Road - As part of the Beat Generation, two young Men go on a Roller Coaster ride through the U.S. Stars Kirsten Dunst, Kristen Stewart, Garrett Hedlund and Sam Riley.

The Trials of Cate McCall - A former Lawyer looking to get reinstated at the Bar must take on an Appeal of a Woman wrongfully convicted of Murder. Stars Nick Nolte and Kate Beckinsale.

The Expatriate - An Ex-CIA Agent and his Daughter are on-the-run after they are marked for Termination as part of an international Conspiracy. Stars Liana Liberato and Aaron Eckhart.

Mama - A Couple are faced with the challenge of raising two Girls left in the Forest for five years. Stars Jessica Chastain and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau.

Nurse - Two Nurses lure unfaithful Men into a fatal Web. Stars Paz de la Huerta, Katrina Bowden, Judd Nelson and Corbin Bleu.

Now is Good - A Girl dying of Lieukemia compiles a list of things she'd like to do before she passes on - among them being losing her Virginity. Stars Dakota Fanning and Jeremy Irvine.

Antiviral - After unraveling the Mysterious Virus which killed a Superstar, one Young Man must focus on saving his own life. Stars Caleb Landry Jones and Sarah Gadon.

To the Wonder - A Man reconnects with a Woman from his past after his Marriage to a European Woman falls apart. Stars Ben Affleck, Rachel McAdams and Jessica Chastain.

Argo - A CIA Specialist helps six Americans who have found shelter at the home of Canadian Ambassador during the Iranian Revolution. Stars Ben Affleck, John Goodman, Bryan Cranston, Clea Duvall and Taylor Schilling.

Killing them Softly - A Professional Enforcer investigates a Heist which took place during a Mob-protected Poker Game. Stars Brad Pitt, James Gandolfini, Ray Liotta and Richard Jenkins.

The Bitter Pill - A Woman turns to Prescription Medication to deal with her incarcerated Husband's release from Prison. Stars Rooney Mara, Channing Tatum and Jude Law.

Anna Karenina - An Aristocrat embarks on a torrid Affair with an affluent Count. Stars Keira Knightley, Kelly MacDonald, Aaron Johnson and Jude Law.

The Master - A Drama set in the '50s about a Man whose Faith-based Organizations begin to catch-on with the help of his Right-hand Man. Stars Philip Seymour Hoffman, Amy Adams and Joaquin Phoenix. 

Gangster Squad - A Chronicle of the LAPD's Fight to keep East Coast Gangsters out of Los Angeles in the '50s and '60s. Stars Ryan Gosling, Sean Penn, Emma Stone, Josh Brolin and Nick Nolte.

Not Fade Away - Set in the '60s, a group of young Men in New Jersey form a Rock Band looking to make it big. Stars James Gandolfini, Lisa Lampanelli, Brad Garrett, Will Brill and John Magaro.

Flight - A Pilot saves a flight from crashing, but soon finds out something disturbing about the malfunctions upon investigation. Stars Denzel Washington, Melissa Leo and John Goodman.

Silver Linings Playbook - A former Teacher who was institutionalized, returns home to reconcile matters with his Ex-Girlfriend. He meets a mysterious Woman with her own problems. Stars Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence.

House at the End of the Street - A Mother and Daughter move into a Home where they find out that a young Girl murdered her Family next door. Stars Jennifer Lawrence, Elisabeth Shue and Max Thierot.

Life of Pi - An Indian Boy finds himself in the company of exotic Animals after a Shipwreck sets them adrift on the Pacific Ocean. Stars Tobey Maguire, Irrfan Khan, Gerard Depardieu and Suraj Sharma.

Zero Dark Thirty - Six Navy SEAL Team Members track down Terrorist, Osama bin Laden. Stars Jessica Chastain, Chris Pratt, Joel Edgerton and Mark Strong.

The Truth - A former CIA Operative is hired by a Whistleblower to uncover the truth about her Company's cover-up of a Massacre in her South American Village. Stars Eva Longoria, Forest Whitaker and Andy Garcia.

The Sessions - A Man with an iron Lung contracts a Prostitute to help him lose his Virginity. Stars Helen Hunt, William H. Macy and John Hawkes.

Of Men and Mavericks - Surfer Jay Moriarity's Biopic. Stars Elisabeth Shue, Jonny Weston and Gerard Butler.

Gambit - An Art Curator gets revenge on his abusive Boss by convincing him to buy a fake Monet Painting. He requires the help of a Rodeo Queen. Stars Cameron Diaz, Colin Firth and Alan Rickman.

Great Expectations - An Orphan suddenly becomes a Gentleman with the help of a Benefactor. Stars Ralph Fiennes, Sally Hawkins and Helena Bonham Carter.

Only God Forgives - A Bangkok Police Officer and Gangster settle their differences in a Thai Boxing Match. Stars Ryan Gosling, Kristin Scott Thomas and Tom Burke.

Inside Llewyn Davis - A Folk Singer's Journey through New York City in the '60s. Stars Carey Mulligan, Garrett Hedlund, Justin Timberlake and John Goodman.

Imogene - A Woman fakes Suicide to win back her Ex-Boyfriend, only to wind-up having to care for her Gambling-addicted Mother. Stars Kristen Wiig, Matt Dillon, Annette Bening and Natasha Lyonne.

The Place Beyond the Pines - A Motorcycle Driver considers committing a Crime to provide for his Wife and Child. Stars Ryan Gosling, Rose Byrne and Bradley Cooper.

Won't Back Down - Two Mothers look to transform their Children's Inner-City School; based on true Events. Stars Maggie Gyllenhaal and Viola Davis.
